Privacy Policy
Last updated September 2026. This policy applies to the KiMi Music Discord bot and website.
What We Collect
KiMi Music may process Discord user, server, and channel IDs; command names; timestamps; configuration values; and feature data needed to run music sessions, playlists, leaderboards, XP, badges, streaks, birthdays, AFK status, and server settings.
Keep Credentials Private
KiMi Music does not need your Discord password. Never share private tokens, passwords, or recovery codes with the bot or anyone claiming to be support staff.
How We Use Data
Data is used to run commands, save settings, generate Music DNA and leaderboards, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, improve reliability, and provide requested support.
Storage & Retention
Temporary activity metadata may be retained for reliability and abuse prevention. Music, XP, and leaderboard data remains until reset, the feature is disabled, KiMi leaves the server, or deletion is requested through support.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared only to operate the service, comply with valid legal requests, investigate abuse, or protect KiMi and its users. Third-party platforms have their own policies.
Deletion Requests
You can request deletion of data associated with your account or server through the official support server. Some records may be retained when necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or moderation integrity.
Your Controls
Server admins can change or remove feature settings using KiMi config commands and Discord permissions. Users can manage liked songs, playlists, and supported stats through commands.
Questions or Requests
For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact the official KiMi support server.
Use of KiMi is also governed by the Terms of Service.
